‘RIVE’ | Rive is the traditional local term for vines on steep slopes. In 2009 43 such areas were officially delimited. See Rive Prosecco Superiore DOCG. A Rive wine must be vintage-dated, sparkling, from a designated Rive and from yields of no more than 13,000 kg of grapes per hectare.
