Pierre Masson was a Biodynamic farmer and consultant on biodynamics in his native France until his death on 22 July 2018, following a battle with metastic prostate cancer. With his son Vincent, Pierre Masson founded BioDynamie Services which provides advice on and materials for Biodynamic farming. Pierre Masson was influenced by the work of Alex Podolinsky (see Prepared Horn Manure).
