Wehlener Sonnenuhr is a vineyard site (‘Einzellage’) in Wehlen in the Mosel region of Germany renowned for its Riesling. The name refers to the sundial (sonnenuhr or ‘sun hour’) built onto a rock formation in the vineyard. See also its neighbour, Zeltinger Sonnenuhr.

Terroir: Steep, sunny, arid south-facing slopes whose shallow topsoils are covered by blue Devonian slate.
