Weingut Klauss Vorgrimmler is a Biodynamic estate winery in Freiburg-Munzingen in the Tuniberg sub-region of Baden in Germany.

Vineyards: 3 hectares (7.4 acres) of wine grapes. Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay.

Biodynamic practices: The estate makes its own Horn manure 500 and Horn silica 501. A 300-litre capacity wooden barrel is used to stir (dynamize) these two sprays (the barrel can hold 180-litres) and the Equisetum arvense 508 spray preparation, material for which is harvested wild locally. Other wild plants such as stinging nettle, oak bark, yarrow, dandelion and chamomile are used as plant-based sprays. Biodynamic compost 502-507 is made from cow manure and grape marc.

Certification: 1985 Klaus Vorgimmler went organic. | 1990 First vintage with full organic certification. | 2000 Began using plant-based sprays. | 2001 Began using the Biodynamic Preparations with advice from Christian von Wistinghausen. | 2007 Joins Demeter. | 2008 Full Demeter Biodynamic certification for the first time. | 2017 Still Demeter-certified Biodynamic.

Other crops: 1 hectare (2.5 acres) of asparagus (Spargel in German).
