Michel Terrier | One of France’s organic wine pioneers, having converted his Jura vineyard comprising 2.5 hectares (6.2 acres) of Côtes de Jura AOC (Chardonnay and Trousseau) to organics in 1968, practicing the Lemaire-Boucher method. Terrier retired officially in 1995 and rented his vines to a young couple who subsequently chose not farm them organically. Terrier’s son Dominique is one half of Domaine des Deux Ânes in Corbières.
