Soave DOC is one of a number of denominations for white wines based on the Garganega grape in the Soave region (which see for an overview) in the Veneto in north-east Italy.

With food: ‘All the Soaves would go well with local dishes such as Fegato alla Venezie (calf’s liver with onions) and Pollo Arrosto,’ or roast chicken suggests Doug Wregg (2011).
